NOTE
Manchester, England, UK
Staff are experienced skaters who describe themselves as happy to assemble a board and talk through the equipment ā which is exactly the conversation a returning skater needs before a first session at Projekts.
Services
One of the UK's longest-standing skate shops, more than 20 years in Manchester and now settled on Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter. Every member of staff has years of skating behind them, they will assemble your setup for you, and it is a ten-minute roll from Projekts MCR and its Wednesday Adults Night.
NOTE spent 18 years on Tib Street and a spell in Afflecks Palace before making 61 Thomas Street its permanent home, and it has become as much a clothing and footwear destination as a skate shop. For our purposes the important part is the counter: knowledgeable staff, assembly on the spot, and one of the widest ranges of hardware in the country. Open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6:30pm, and Sunday 11am to 5pm, with fast domestic and international shipping from the online store. It is paired closely with Projekts MCR and Graystone Action Sports for excellent local skating.
