Williams Farm Skatepark
Virginia Beach, Virginia, US
Terrain & Features
A 25,000-square-foot municipal concrete skatepark in Virginia Beach featuring LED floodlighting for night sessions until 11:00pm and three distinct zones—an urban street plaza, a mid-park flow course, and a tiered bowl.
Located adjacent to the Williams Farm Recreation Center in Virginia Beach, Williams Farm Skatepark is a 25,000-square-foot poured-concrete facility that offers a much more approachable, well-lit alternative to the towering vert and deep bowl at nearby Mount Trashmore. The layout is organized into three distinct zones—an urban street plaza, a central flow park with smooth, roll-in transitions, and a tiered bowl—allowing older skaters to practice flatground turns and gentle bank-to-bank carving in the plaza or flow section without dropping into the deep end.
Overhead LED floodlighting keeps the park open and rideable from sunrise until 11:00pm daily, while early mornings after sunrise provide the quietest sessions before faster intermediate street skaters, BMX riders, and kick-scooter traffic arrive in the afternoon. Note that the facility is unsupervised (helmets and full protective gear are strongly recommended by the City of Virginia Beach), electric or motorized devices are prohibited, and the city may temporarily close the park when rain, snow, or condensation makes the concrete slick.
