A 20,000-square-foot indoor wood skatepark in southwest Indianapolis featuring separate street and transition rooms, Wednesday evening all-ages beginner lessons, and 35-and-over contest divisions.

Located in the Stout Field industrial district about seven minutes southwest of downtown Indianapolis, Q Skatepark houses 20,000 square feet of indoor wooden terrain split across distinct street and transition rooms. That physical room separation makes it a forgiving year-round option for older skaters, who can warm up on the dedicated mini-ramp and smaller wooden banks without dodging full-speed street lines. The park also runs weekly one-hour Beginner and Intermediate group lessons for all ages every Wednesday at 6:00pm (as well as weekend mornings at 10:00am and 11:00am and $40 private lessons by appointment), and every lesson includes a full week of free open-skate admission afterward. Its community events even include a dedicated 35-and-over division during Game of S.K.A.T.E. tournaments.

Note that the floor is closed to general open skate during Saturday and Sunday morning group lessons from 10:00am to 12:00pm, and you must RSVP the day before to join a group clinic. Every rider must complete an athletic waiver before stepping onto the course; helmets are mandatory for ages 17 and under and strongly recommended for everyone else ($2 helmet rentals and $3 board rentals are available at the counter, alongside free storage lockers). The park is open to skateboards, inline skates, quad skates, and scooters. If you want a full board evaluation or custom setup on the north side of the metro, stop by Minus Skate Shop in Carmel, or pair your trip with an outdoor session at Major Taylor Skatepark.
