Terrain & Features
A floodlit poured-concrete municipal skatepark at the Pennsauken Township Community Recreation Complex combining a concrete mini-ramp, approachable street plaza ledges and rails, a flow section, and a separate transition bowl.
Located at the corner of Bethel and Westfield Avenues inside the Pennsauken Township Community Recreation Complex—just minutes across the Delaware River from Philadelphia—Pennsauken Skatepark is a poured-concrete municipal facility built by American Ramp Company and maintained by Pennsauken Township Parks & Recreation. Equipped with overhead night lighting for evening sessions and surrounded by complex parking and walking paths, the park offers older skaters in South Jersey and Greater Philadelphia a dependable morning and after-work concrete option.
The layout divides naturally into distinct zones so returning riders can progress at their own pace: a dedicated concrete mini-ramp/half-pipe provides a predictable transition warmup, the street plaza lines up low manual pads, flat rails, ledges, and mellow banks, and a central flow section connects into a deeper concrete bowl with hips and quarter-pipes. Keep township regulations in mind: the park is an unsupervised facility where helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards are strongly advised, and township ordinances strictly prohibit motorized vehicles, alcohol, smoking, and vaping inside the recreation complex. Before crossing the Ben Franklin or Betsy Ross Bridge for a session, stop by Nocturnal Skateshop in Philadelphia for fresh bushings, decks, or hardware, or pair your ride with Paine’s Park on the Schuylkill River.
