A large 15,000 sq. ft. concrete skatepark offering varied terrain. It provides plenty of flat areas and a pump track to help older skaters find their balance before moving to deeper bowls.
Owens Field Skatepark is a custom-designed, 15,000 square-foot concrete facility located next to the Owens Field Airport in downtown Columbia. It boasts a street plaza alongside a pump track and several “pool” bowls ranging from 4 to 12 feet in depth, allowing older skaters to pick a terrain that fits their comfort zone.
The inclusion of a pump track and expansive flat ground makes it easy for returning beginners to carve without needing to drop in. While the park is busy on weekends and after school, early mornings offer a documented quiet window to practice freely. Please note that pads are required by the facility.
