North Domingo Baca Skate Park
Albuquerque, New Mexico, US
Terrain & Features
A floodlit City of Albuquerque hybrid concrete and modular skatepark in the Northeast Heights open until 11pm in summer and 10pm in winter, featuring covered picnic seating, restrooms, mellow 2-to-4-foot banks, and a 5-foot half-pipe.
Set inside North Domingo Baca Park in Albuquerque’s Northeast Heights, this City of Albuquerque Parks & Recreation facility combines poured-concrete terrain with fixed modular structures under full overhead night lighting. For older skaters navigating high-desert heat and work schedules, the park’s 7:00am summer opening and late evening lights—running until 11:00pm from May through August and 10:00pm from September through April—provide reliable dawn and post-sunset windows, supported by on-site restrooms, benches, and covered picnic tables next to the community center and dog park.
The layout offers clear, approachable warmup lines before stepping up to larger street obstacles. Returning riders can start on the 2-foot to 4-foot banks, flat bars, ledges, 3-foot to 5-foot streetpipe, and 5-foot metal half-pipe before testing the euro gap or the 8-stair handrail and hubba. Note that the park is an unsupervised, skate-at-your-own-risk facility designed for shared use by skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes; city rules require helmets for riders under 18, strongly recommend full pads for everyone, and prohibit skating whenever surfaces are wet. Before heading up Wyoming Boulevard, stop by Skate City Supply on Eubank Boulevard for fresh bushings, bearings, or a setup tune-up, or pair your session with Los Altos Skatepark.
