One of the largest outdoor concrete skate complexes in the Carolinas, open daily from sunrise to midnight with overhead floodlights, beginner street and snake-run zones, and municipal clinics.

Located beside the One Mooresville Center just north of Charlotte, Mooresville Skate Park was completely rebuilt and expanded in late 2022 into one of the largest outdoor concrete skate complexes in the Southeast. For older skaters in the Charlotte and Lake Norman region, its combination of scale and schedule solves the crowding issues of smaller city plazas: the park stays open and illuminated every day from sunrise until midnight (when the overhead lights automatically shut off), and its vast concrete footprint physically separates mellow progression terrain from high-consequence bowls.

Warm up on the wide flatground aprons, gentle street banks, low ledges, and the flowing snake run before working your way toward the larger plaza stairs or the deep pool-style bowls. Mooresville Parks & Recreation also runs periodic beginner skateboarding clinics on-site, and the town provides live park camera feeds online so you can check how busy the concrete is before driving over. Because weekend afternoons draw heavy regional crowds, weekday mornings and late evenings under the lights offer the most relaxed sessions.
