Terrain & Features
A multi-phase Dreamland Skateparks concrete complex in Lincoln City's Kirtsis Park featuring a covered roof over its Cradle and halfpipe bowl section for wet Oregon Coast days, floodlighting, and four distinct bowls alongside a street course.
Located directly behind Kirtsis Ballfield a few blocks east of Highway 101 on the central Oregon Coast, Lincoln City Skatepark is a landmark poured-concrete complex built across multiple phases by Dreamland Skateparks. Because coastal showers roll in year-round, the park’s standout practical advantage for older skaters is its covered Cradle and Half Pipe section—sheltered beneath an overhead roof so you can still carve dry concrete when rain shuts down uncovered coastal slabs, complemented by lighting for low-light sessions.
Rather than squeezing every rider into a single bowl, the 40,000-plus-square-foot complex separates four distinct transition zones plus a street section. Returning skaters warming up their legs can start on the street course’s banks, ledges, and rails, pump through the rolling contours of The Moguls Bowl, or cruise the long, banked walls of The Snake Run (“The Clam”) without crossing into the tight, vertical-walled Swimming Pool bowl. Restrooms, benches, picnic tables, and a drinking fountain sit right beside the park in Kirtsis Park. Keep in mind that the park is unsupervised (“skate at your own risk,” with full safety gear strongly recommended by Lincoln City Parks and Recreation), and wind-driven coastal mist can still dampen the outer uncovered bowls and the edges of the covered floor during heavy storms.
