Spanning 68,000 square feet within Lake Cunningham Regional Park in East San Jose, this facility is the largest open concrete skate park in California. While international pros visit for its 70-foot full pipe and 20-foot vert cradle, the sheer scale of the park means that beginner-friendly street elements, flat puddles, and mellow mini-bowls are physically separated from high-consequence transition traffic.

For older skaters, the standout feature is the dedicated Drop Zone, where concrete steps of 1.5, 3, and 5 feet allow you to build dropping-in confidence incrementally rather than confronting an intimidating vertical roll-in. The low-profile ledges, gentle banks, and broad flatground corridors provide ample space to re-establish edge control and balance without fear of getting snaked by cross-park lines.

The park enforces a strict mandatory helmet, elbow pad, and knee pad policy for every rider, creating a supportive culture where older skaters wearing full protective gear blend right in. The facility is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and because there is no nighttime floodlighting, sessions end thirty minutes after sunset. Regional park parking fees apply at the entrance lot.
