Terrain & Features
A 12,000-square-foot Grindline park that boasts continuous flow and smooth concrete transitions, providing an excellent environment for older skaters starting on smaller elements.
Situated within Harmon-Shipley Park, Hillyard Skatepark is a 12,000-square-foot concrete facility built by Grindline Skateparks. It offers a wide range of obstacles ranging from a flowing snake run and 10-foot deep bowls, to an outer perimeter populated with ledges, rails, and mini-bowls.
The diverse feature set and flowing layout mean older skaters can safely warm up on smaller ramps and basic flat-ground sections before progressing. It is a highly popular spot for the adult skating community in Spokane. Be aware that the Spokane Municipal Code requires all users to wear helmets, and the park operates strictly from dawn to dusk.
