Coeur d'Alene Skatepark
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, US
Terrain & Features
A 14,000-square-foot Evergreen Skateparks concrete facility in Coeur d'Alene's Four Corners park precinct, pairing a 10,000-square-foot street plaza with a 4,000-square-foot rolling 'moonscape' flow zone.
Set next to the historic Memorial Field grandstand along Northwest Boulevard and Mullan Avenue, Coeur d’Alene Skatepark is a 14,000-square-foot poured-concrete facility designed and built by Evergreen Skateparks as part of the city’s Four Corners park renewal. Equipped with overhead lighting for evening sessions, the park replaces the city’s original 1995 setup with glass-smooth concrete engineered for continuous, low-impact flow.
What makes the layout especially welcoming for older skaters is Evergreen’s two-part design: 10,000 square feet of open street “skate plaza” (banks, ledges, manual pads, flat bars, and stairs) paired with 4,000 square feet of sculpted “moonscape”—a lunar-inspired zone of mellow, rolling bumps, curves, and pocket transitions where you can pump and carve endless laps without committing to vertical coping. Because the park is shared with BMX riders and scooters and serves as a major regional stop along the I-90 corridor, summer afternoons get lively; aim for morning or lit evening sessions for the most room, and note that the adjacent Memorial Park lot enforces seasonal paid parking rates from May through September. You can easily pair an Inland Northwest trip here with Hillyard Skatepark just across the Washington border in Spokane.
