Metro Atlanta's largest public concrete skatepark, spanning 27,000 floodlit square feet inside Dunwoody's Brook Run Park with daily 7am openings, a wide-open flow course, progressive street obstacles, and a separate pool-coping peanut bowl.

Set inside 110-acre Brook Run Park in northern DeKalb County, Brook Run Skate Park is a 27,000-square-foot poured-concrete facility operated by the City of Dunwoody Parks and Recreation Department. As the largest public concrete skatepark in Metro Atlanta, its broad footprint, high-pole night lighting, and 7:00am daily opening (running until 9:00pm Sunday through Thursday and 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday) give older skaters plenty of room to spread out during quiet early-morning and after-work windows, supported by shaded spectator areas, nearby park restrooms, and ample parking.

Designed by Site Design Group around a continuous flow concept, the park lets returning riders start on wide, mellow banks, curved ledges, low flat rails, and a pumping flow bowl with rollovers before working toward the larger double-set stairs, down rails, and a dedicated peanut bowl finished with traditional pool coping. Note that City of Dunwoody rules strictly require helmets for all skaters inside the fence, and weekend afternoons draw heavy family and scooter traffic across the wider park campus—making weekday mornings after 7:00am or lit evening sessions the best times to visit. You can also pair a north-metro session here with Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark along the BeltLine or Kennesaw Skatepark in Cobb County.
