A 17,000-square-foot concrete facility divided into three distinct zones, including a dedicated beginner bowl that allows newer riders to practice away from advanced traffic. It opens early for quiet morning sessions.

Formerly known as the Food Lion Skatepark, the Asheville Skatepark is a long-standing fixture in the local scene. The park is smartly segmented into three distinct areas: a beginner bowl, an intermediate street course, and an advanced vertical bowl. This physical separation is a huge asset for older beginners, keeping you out of the crossfire while you learn the ropes.

The local community is known to be highly supportive, and the park opens early at 6:00 am. Hitting the beginner bowl during those quiet morning hours is the best way to build confidence before the crowds arrive.
