The House Skatepark

Sheffield's landmark indoor timber-and-concrete skatepark, offering sheltered riding across multiple rooms with mellow mini-ramps, low street ledges, an indoor bowl, and late-evening sessions tailored for older skaters.

Operating out of a spacious industrial unit in Neepsend on the north side of Sheffield, The House Skatepark has been an essential hub for northern skateboarding since the late 1990s. The facility combines a massive multi-room timber street plaza with mini-ramps and the North of England’s only indoor concrete bowl, ensuring year-round, weather-proof sessions regardless of the South Yorkshire climate.

For older skaters, the forgiving nature of wood transitions significantly softens the impact of falls while rebuilding joint confidence. The back room houses a pair of mellow 4-foot mini-ramps that are ideal for relearning kickturns and 50-50 stalls, while the main hall provides wide, low-impact flatground, driveways, and low hubbas. Weekday afternoons (12pm to 4pm) during term time and evening slots provide a quiet, adult-friendly atmosphere away from weekend youth rushes.

Admission is paid per session at the front desk, and the venue provides on-site parking, heated seating areas, toilets, and a shop desk stocking basic hardware, wax, and bearings.
