A 20,000-square-foot riverside concrete facility in Victoria Park, featuring distinct street and bowl zones, forgiving low banks, flatground ledges, and quiet prairie morning sessions along the South Saskatchewan River.

Set within Victoria Park on the west bank of the South Saskatchewan River, the Lions SkatePark is Saskatoon’s premier wheeled-sports venue. Designed by New Line Skateparks and spanning 20,000 square feet, the park provides an open-concept concrete layout that serves everyone from first-timers to seasoned veterans.

The facility’s layout works especially well for older skaters because the street course is cleanly divided from the deep transition bowl. A wide flatground plaza equipped with knee-high ledges, low flat-rails, and gradual roll-in banks offers an unintimidating space to practice pushing, turning, and low-consequence grind variations without dodging high-speed bowl lines. When you want to warm up on transitions, the mellow perimeter quarter pipes provide easy entry angles and comfortable coping.

The park is free, open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and benefits from a tranquil riverside setting that stays peaceful during weekday mornings between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
