Chuck Bailey Skatepark
Surrey, British Columbia, CA
Terrain & Features
Canada's first purpose-built, partially covered outdoor skatepark. Featuring a massive roof over the bowl and 24-hour floodlights, it is highly practical for older skaters working around winter weather.
Located adjacent to the Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre, this New Line-designed facility solves the biggest problem with skating in the Pacific Northwest: the rain.
The parkβs centerpiece is a large, architecturally striking roof that completely covers the deep concrete bowl and adjacent transition elements, keeping them perfectly dry during wet weather. Combined with high-quality floodlights and a 24-hour operating policy, it is one of the most reliable options in the Lower Mainland for older skaters who need to squeeze in a session around work hours, regardless of the forecast.
