Sydney Park Skate Park

One of Sydney's largest concrete skate facilities, set inside scenic Sydney Park. Features a dedicated beginner bowl physically separated from the deep flow bowl, extensive street plaza terrain, and floodlights until 9pm.

Located in the rolling parklands of Alexandria just south of the Sydney CBD, Sydney Park Skate Park is one of the premier concrete wheeled-sports venues in New South Wales. Designed to accommodate multiple disciplines and experience tiers, the facility is deliberately divided into distinct, manageable riding zones.

For older skaters, the standout asset is the purpose-built beginner bowl. By isolating shallower, mellow transitions from the imposing 3.3-metre international flow bowl, it gives returning skaters a safe, unpressured space to find their pumping rhythm and practice carving corners. The surrounding street plaza offers wide-open concrete flats, gentle roll-ins, and manageable low ledges away from high-speed cross-traffic. Floodlights keep the park illuminated until 9pm every night.

Because the skatepark sits next to a popular children’s cycling track, mid-day weekend sessions can be overrun with small scooters and family traffic. Early weekday mornings from 7am to 9:30am offer peaceful, clear lines. If you need hardware, fresh wheels, or protective gear, Black Sheep Skate Shop in Surry Hills is about 3.5 kilometres north.
