Following a comprehensive $3.7 million redevelopment by Convic, the park seamlessly merges contemporary street terrain and beginner-friendly obstacles with its historic full-size steel vert ramp.

For older skaters, the modern layout is vastly more accommodating than its aggressive predecessors. The street plaza offers expansive flatground lanes, low mellow ledges, gentle banks, and an accessible concrete mini-ramp, all sensibly isolated from the high-velocity lines of the vert ramp. Crucially, Prahran is a regular rotating host venue for Adult Skate Melbourne, whose fortnightly Saturday morning sessions (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) bring together skaters aged 35 and older in a supportive, zero-attitude atmosphere before the general weekend crowd arrives.
