Pizzey Park Skate Park

Australia's largest skate precinct spanning 4,800 m² of concrete park terrain alongside a 2,100 m² asphalt pump track. Designed by Convic with street obstacles ranging from beginner curb heights to Olympic grades, floodlit with LEDs until 10pm. Free City of Gold Coast facility.

Spread across the sporting grounds of Bardon Avenue in Miami on the Gold Coast, Pizzey Park is a landmark facility that balances international competition credentials with approachable grassroots terrain. Following a major multi-million-dollar Convic upgrade, the park now covers more than 4,800 square metres of smooth concrete alongside Australia’s largest asphalt pump track.

For older skaters, that 2,100-square-metre pump track is a major asset: its gentle rollers, berms, and sweeping curves offer an ideal, low-impact way to regain balance and pump speed without the impact of jarring flat landings. In the main street course, granite ledges and flat rails scale up incrementally from ankle-high curb boxes to advanced drops, giving returners plenty of low-consequence obstacles to dial in basics. LED floodlights keep the concrete well-lit until 10pm every evening, and the precinct features ample parking, public toilets, and shaded spectator viewing.
