Operating across the Portland metro area, Skate Like a Girl PDX provides structured, patient instruction and casual group sessions for older skaters, adult beginners, and returning riders. The focus is strictly on mutual encouragement, building confidence, and learning safe dismount and falling mechanics.
Sessions rotate between regional indoor spaces during rainy months and outdoor venues like Ed Benedict Skatepark, whose mellow concrete street plaza and gentle banks offer ideal terrain for low-stress progression. Before rolling out, drop by Cal Skate Skateboards on NW 6th Avenue for board checks and softer wheel setups.
